You can stay in a room with KL Tower & KLCC view if you book the right room!
However, no worries if you fail to get the room with KL Tower and KLCC view. That is because you still get to enjoy the view of the iconic skyscrapers when you relax in their infinity pool. Since it is within close proximity to KLCC, the iconic twin towers appear huge. This is a really 😍satisfying sight to see while relaxing in the pool.
This Luxury hotel is 52-storey tall and has 440 rooms, including suites with classy and contemporary interior design. There are lots of activities for different age groups and preferences. If you don’t feel like getting out of the hotel, you can pamper yourself with relaxing massages at the in-house ✨💆♀️spa.

Enjoy a luxurious stay in Penang when you book a stay with Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa. This top-rated luxury resort is surrounded by big shady trees (well, not 😎shady as in suspicious but 🌴shady as in they provide shades) and huts, so you don’t have to worry about the heat when you hang out outdoors.
There is also a beach right behind this resort, and you can wake up to the view of it if you book any of the sea-view rooms. Then at night, you can hear the sound of the 🌊waves, which make a 😴good lullaby for sleeping. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds and oh! It is 👶baby-friendly too! They have some baby stuff ready to lend, such as the bottle sterilizer, baby bath, baby cot and other baby stuff.
When we talk about a hotel, we can’t skip the pool. At Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, you can find that there is a pool for kids and another bigger one for adult guests. Travel back in time to the colonial era in Penang when you stay in The Edison. Built in 1906, this mansion was originally a residence of a tycoon named Yeo Wee Gark, and it wasn’t until the 1940s that it was transformed into a hotel. The last restoration and renovation were done in late 2014, giving it a fresh look. It was then rebranded as The Edison George Town, Penang.
The interior is given an Art Deco detailing while some Peranakan tiles are preserved. The combination of modern and vintage design gives it an interesting and unique vibe. Even the traditional courtyard in the middle of the building is given a modern twist. With comfortable couches and a parasol shading you from the sun, you can relax as long as you want while soaking in all the 🌞vitamin D.
One thing to note about this top-rated luxury hotel is that you can get free drinks and snacks at the lounge all day long. There are cereals, 🍪cookies, chips, ☕coffee, 🍵tea, 🧃juices, soft drinks, 🍜instant noodles and 🍏fruits; enough to keep your hungry tummy at bay. On top of that, there are also 🍷free wines at specific hours.
📍 Address: 15, Lebuh Leith, George Town, 10200 George Town, Pulau Pinang
Here is another top-rated luxury hotel in Penang with colonial-era architecture. The Prestige Hotel Penang is a newly built hotel that opened its door in 2019 and is inspired by a movie of the same name (The Prestige) starring Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. The white-washed horizontally-spread building with Victorian-era architecture and a modern touch blends well with the actual colonial shophouses around it.
As for the interior design, this award-winning luxury hotel plays a lot with lines, mirrors, glass and repetitive patterns to create optical illusions that will make you want to look twice. The clever use of black, white and gold colours gives it an otherworldly pleasantness that is hard to explain. It’s almost like you are in a Sci-Fi movie. Not forgetting to mention that they also have a rooftop infinity pool which faces the sea and other rooftops.
This hotel has 162 rooms which will give you a mind-bending stay. One of the best examples are the 🛌beds. They are made to look like they are levitating with some clever use of lighting and propping underneath the bed. Another example will be the transparent shower cubicles that remind you of the water tank escape scene but are fancier. I need to stress again that it’s TRANSPARENT, so if you are coming with your family or friends and you are not keen on showing your naked buns, make sure to request a room that has a curtained shower cubicle. Also, make sure that your group doesn’t have anyone who would slide the curtains to expose you while you’re in your birthday suit.
In addition to all the fancy decorations and architecture, this luxury staycation getaway also has a glasshouse in-house restaurant called The Glasshouse. It is open daily from 6.30am to 11.00pm. The a la carte menu includes a mix of western and Asian cuisine.
📍 Address: 8, Gat Lebuh Gereja, George Town, 10300 George Town, Pulau Pinang
This top-rated luxury resort went from being a barren mining land to a deluxe resort and spa nestled in lush greenery. The villas are surrounded by undisturbed wetlands, fruit trees, vast lakes, a palm plantation, and exotic flower and herb gardens. As an 🍃eco-friendly accommodation, they also have over 100 species of 🐦birds within their compound.
The atmosphere is very relaxing, making it a perfect staycation getaway for those who are looking for a peaceful and quiet haven to escape into. If you want to explore around, there are free 🚴♂️bikes for you to use. Alternatively, you can tour the park in a buggy. There are also lots of nature activities that you can enjoy here, such as birdwatching, kayaking, picnic, paddle boating and even archery.
There are 5 villas and a bungalow here, with the bungalow being the largest with 6 bedrooms. Some villas are built on the lake, and some have outdoor private pools.
As for dining, there is a lakeside all-day dining restaurant. It is open from 7am to 10pm daily. There is a galore of Malaysian and international cuisine for you to choose from. Plus, if you have dietary requirements, you can request the chef to prepare your meal without the ingredients that you can’t take.
📍 Address: Lbh Persiaran Tun Khalil Yaakob, Kampung Melayu Gambang, 26300 Gambang, Pahang
If you choose Langkawi as your staycation getaway, then The St. Regis Langkawi should not be missed! Belonging to the Marriott group, this top-rated luxury hotel overlooks the white sandy beach and turquoise water of the Andaman sea. Then, at the back of this luxury hotel is a million-old rainforest. This only means one thing, you are getting the best of both worlds!
The main attraction of this deluxe staycation spot are the private over-water villas, and there are only 4 of them. A villa built over the water probably sounds pretty common, but what if I tell you that you can see the water underneath you in the villa? Yes! There are transparent glass panels built on the floor so that you can lie flat on your chest and have a therapeutic stare at the water underneath. Then as the 🌅sun sets in the evening, you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view of it.
Besides the 4 villas, there are also 85 other luxuriously-appointed rooms. All of them are decorated with posh designs and The St. Regis Langkawi’s signature white and blue colours. The only downside is that the phone signal here is pretty weak for Maxis and Digi. However, the WiFi network here is as strong as the red dragon fruit stain on my white shirt.
If you are hungry, you can head to Kayuputi, the hotel’s signature restaurant that serves Asian Fusion cuisine. If it’s not to your liking, no worries because there are 4 other restaurants that you can choose from. Then, if you want something 💏romantic, you can book a private dining over the beach with a private chef. You can enjoy the beautiful 🌅sunset view over a romantic setting with good food with your beloved.
📍 Address: Jalan Pantai Beringin, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah
All luxury hotels are the same. You can hang out at the minibar, clad in threadbare robes, and sleep on beds that are so soft that they make you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud of feathers. And of course, there's the staff. They're always so eager to please, always offering you a drink or a snack, even when you don't really want one. But at the end of the day, it's all worth it, because you're staying in a luxury hotel. You're special, and you deserve the best of the best. If that is what you want to experience, then these 7 top-rated luxury hotels & resorts are perfect for you.
