The Genting Highlands theme park and 🎲🎰casinos aren’t the only attractions at Genting Highlands. There are many other attractions such as Chin Swee Caves Temple, Mohamed Noah Foundation Mosque, Gohtong Memorial Park, Mini Cameron Highlands, Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms, Happy Bee Farm & Insect World and Butterfly Wonderland. Here is a 3 days 2 nights itinerary for you and your friends to enjoy Genting Highlands to the max!

Day 1

Stingless Bees Anyone?

Start your trip from the lowland by stopping by the 🐝Happy Bee Farm & Insect World. If you like insects, bees and 🍯honey, this place is a must-visit.

This place, albeit small, has beautiful 🦋butterfly specimens. Therefore, people who are into entomology should pay the farm a visit. There is also a stingless bees section where you can get close to the 🐝bees, and they won’t sting you. The whole place will take you about 30 minutes to explore.

A Berry Fun Farm

After seeing the bees, proceed to Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms. The place is very huge, so be ready for some walking! You can enjoy picking 🍓strawberries with your friends at Rm8 per 100 grams and purchase strawberry products like jams, juice, lollipops and many more.

There are also 📸photographers who will take your photos for free, and you can choose to print them out starting from RM180. Besides strawberries, there are also lots of 🌺🌼🌻beautiful flowers which make a good backdrop for a wefie with your friends. Not only that, but Muslims can also make use of the 🤲praying room provided.

Pro Tip: The season for strawberry picking is somewhere between May to August.

A Temple Surrounded by Clouds

The next stop would be Chin Swee Cave Temple, but before heading there, you can 🍴lunch around Gohtong Jaya, which is on the way to the temple. There are some non-halal and halal restaurants there. Chin Swee Cave Temple was built by the late Lim Goh Tong, founder of the Genting Group (basically the guy who built Genting Highlands). This temple is built on a highland and shrouded by clouds. Besides being a place of worship, it is also a beautiful tourist attraction.

Some of the most interesting attractions of this temple are the Giant Buddha Statue, Nine-Storey Pagoda, Guan Yin Statue, 10 Chambers of Hell, Sky Terrace and Bridge of Fairies. Since it is a temple, there is no entrance fee required to enjoy the 18 attractions in Chin Swee Cave Temple. If you are hungry, there is a 🥬🥦🥕vegetarian restaurant serving all vegetarian cuisine.

You can also spend a night in the Goh Tong Hall Residence Room by donating a minimum amount. It is a comfortable 🛌accommodation with basic amenities. This place makes a strategic accommodation as it is near the Chin Swee Station, where you can take the 🚠Awana SkyWay Gondola (cable car) to Genting SkyWorlds the next day. If you don’t feel like spending your night here, you can take a cable car ride uphill straight to Genting SkyWorlds!

Day 2

An Oddly Satisfying Place

While waiting for the Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park to open up at 2pm, start your day 2 by visiting Ripley's Believe It Or Not Adventureland. If you are buying the Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park and Ripley's Believe It Or Not Adventureland 🎫combo ticket, you’ll have to redeem both entrance tickets together at 2pm. So if you plan to visit Ripley's Believe It Or Not Adventureland earlier, it is advisable to purchase the tickets separately.

You can expect to spend 45 mins to 1 hour here with the 4D trick art museum, Jurassic Research Centre, Zombie Outbreak and the Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium. Adults who grew up watching Ripley's Believe It or Not TV Series will find the odditorium nostalgic with all the collections and odd facts on display.

Endless Fun at the Indoor Theme Park

The operation hour of the Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park is from 2pm to 9pm. It requires a 🎫separate ticket from the outdoor theme park, but you can always get your ticket for value from us at Traworld! This theme park has 3 types of rides which range from low-thrill (suitable for family) to high-thrill.

There are about 19 fun and exciting rides that you can enjoy with your friends, such as Chariot Cruise, Bumper Boss, Spin Crazy, Super Glider and many more! You can ride on all of them be it ☔rain or 🌞shine because they are all indoors.

What To Do After Dark?

At night, you can watch a show, play some nostalgic games at the Retro-style arcade at the Lower Lobby of Genting Grand, go for a game of 🎳bowling at First World Plaza or do something haram😈 at the 🎲🎰casino (strictly for non-muslims only ok!).

Day 3

A Newly Transformed Outdoor Theme Park

Have a 🥞🥯🍞hearty breakfast because you’ll have an exciting day ahead of you😆! The rides and attractions at Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park are available from 11am to 6pm. You can always book your tickets online with us, Traworld for a fast and smooth check-in process and at a very competitive price too!

There are 9 sections to explore in Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park. They are Studio Plaza, Eagle Mountain, Central Park, Rio, Andromeda Base, Liberty Lane, Epic, Robots Rivet Town and Ice Age.

 If you are going on a weekday, the queue for each ride is not more than 15 minutes. However, if you go on a public holiday or at weekends, expect to queue for an hour or more. This is why it is important to download the Genting Skyworlds app. With the app, you can queue virtually (applicable for some attractions only) anywhere and enjoy more benefits.

It is recommended to quickly queue virtually for rides & attractions like Independence Days, Alpha Fighter Pilot, Epic Voyage To Moonhaven and Samba Glider as these are pretty popular and can have long waiting times. One of the most recommended rides that you must try out is Independence Day: Defiance. It is a motion-simulation ride based on the film Independence Day: Resurgence. Inside it, you can experience the flying theatre. This is not for the faint-hearted.

There are many food options here in Genting SkyWorlds, and you can even exit and re-enter the theme park to have your tummy filled. For Muslims, you can find more halal dining options at Jom Makan Street Food. Meanwhile, many stalls within the theme park itself also sell quick bites such as SUPER LONG 🌭hot dogs, 🌮tacos, 🍔burgers, etc.

The Awana SkyWay only operates until 11pm, so plan your journey properly so that you can make your way home on time.
