G2G Animal Garden is a 👨👩👧👦family-friendly petting zoo at Malaysian Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS). You can pet and feed most animals here, like 🦌deer, lambs, rabbits, etc. Feed for the animals is sold at an affordable price too. On top of that, kids can have a little adventure riding on a pony for RM5/round!
It is a small petting zoo but packed with attractions! Visitors can see and interact with 🐦colourful birds, small mammals, tamed reptiles and many more. If you are tired, there are benches scattered all around for you to sit on, and you can buy snacks from the snack stalls to calm your peckish stomach.

There are also some exotic animals in the Langkawi Wildlife Park, such as fennec foxes, meerkats, ibis, raccoons (which you can pet) and many more.
Daily feeding shows and fun times are held between 10am to 11:30 am and 2:30pm until 4:30 pm, so make sure to take note of this. Who doesn’t know about Zoo Negara? It is our national zoo and also the largest zoo in Malaysia, featuring mammals, birds, fishes, amphibians and reptiles of various species. Currently, the most famous animals in the zoo are the 🐼panda couples Xing Xing and Liang Liang and their daughters Yi Yi and Sheng Yi.
In Zoo Negara, there is a section called Children's World which many adults without kids would probably avoid. Unbeknownst to them, Children's World is the only place in this zoo where anyone can enter and pet some of the animals! Even though it’s labelled Children's World, don’t be shy. You can still go in, and check out the friendly animals and pet them.

Meet and pet some 🐊crocodiles at the Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm in Johor. Yes, you can hold some crocs but only the babies because the adults are…let’s just say that they are not very social. Currently run by the third and fourth generation, this crocodile farm has more than 1000 crocodiles! Some of them are 150 years old, making them even older than the farm itself.
If you feel like the 🐊crocodiles are well-behaved you can treat them to a 🍗chicken meal at just RM20. Then the staff will feed them the chicken, and you watch them gobble up the sacrifice meat. Sometimes, they might even wrestle for the meat, so you can watch a WWE crocodile version live. The tickets are pretty cheap, making it perfect for big families to visit during the year-end school holidays.

Meet a variety of animals at Farm In The City. There are more than 100 species of tame and exotic animals that you can feed or pet, like guinea pigs, Falabella horses, 🐰rabbits, 🦝raccoons and many more. However, be careful with the alpacas. Some are shameless and might charge at you when they see food in your hand.
Besides the alpaca, there are also some other rare finds like meerkats, fennec foxes, Kirk's dik-dik, white peacock, and many more! The best part of all, there are labels for each animal, which include their species, scientific name, location, diet, prey and lifespan.
Farm In The City is not just a petting zoo. It has vegetable and fruit farms. Plus, they also carry out conservation and research on animals like turtles. Apart from that, there are lots of activities that kids can participate in, like catching longkang fish (betta fish), riding on a 🐎pony, etc. This is one of the few farms in Malaysia where you can get close to many animals. It is a good farm to visit for fun learning during the year-end school holiday.

If you are visiting KL Tower, why not drop by KL Tower Mini Zoo. Unbeknownst to many, KL Tower Mini Zoo is also owned by the same owner of Farm In The City. It is located next to the KL Tower,making it super easy to spot. On top of that, it is reachable by the KL Hop-On Hop-Off bus! How convenient! You can even feed the animals at no extra fee.
There are many uncaged animals which visitors can feed and pet, such as wallabies, 🐰rabbits, 🐢big tortoise and a variety of birds, including 🦜macaws. The staff is even friendly enough to help kids interact with animals. Overall, it is a great place to take your kids for a close encounter with animals that they otherwise wouldn’t have.

Just from the name itself, you already know that it’s a petting zoo. Unfortunately, Pavilion Petting Zoo is not located in any of the Pavilion malls. Instead, it is located inIpoh. This petting zoo is another cheap attraction suitable for big families on a budget to visit during the year-end school holidays. Visitors can feed and pet some of the cute animals here. On top of that, animal feeds are sold at RM2 only! If you are lucky, you might be able to see freshly laid 🥚eggs in the chicken coop!
Some of the animals that you can find here include 🐎ponies, 🦔hedgehogs, 🦎geckos, sugar gliders, 🐱cats, 🐔chickens and many more! There is an indoor section with air-conditioners for the small mammals and an outdoor section. The outdoor section can be pretty hot on a sunny day, so you might want to carry an 🌂umbrella and apply lots of sunscreens.

Although it is called P.D. Ostrich Show Farm, there are actually many other animals here, including 🦔hedgehogs, 🐇rabbits, 🐈cats, 🐐goats, 🐱🐉dinosaurs (don’t worry they are fake), a bunch of free-range 🐔chickens and many more! You can pet and feed them and even feed on some of them. Yes, you can eat ostrich meat in the form of nicely grilled satay. There is even an omelette made using an ostrich egg!
Of course, if you are not comfortable with that, you can opt for something less challenging like shooting, 🐎horse riding, ATV, etc. There is even a mini train ride which kids are definitely going to enjoy.

It contains food for all types of animals. There is also a pond with fish like catfish and koi.
This farm aims to be organic and eco-friendly. They recycle the animal 💩wastes and turn them into fertilisers for the plants, which will be consumed by the animals, and the cycle continues. Overall, it is a good escape, away from the city for a year-end school holiday.
