(2 Days 1 Night Gopeng Team Building) ATVs, Rafts and Teammates

Welcome to our blog post on our 2 Days 1 Night Gopeng team-building, where we'll take you on an exciting journey filled with adrenaline-pumping activities and team-building exercises. Our itinerary includes riding ATVs through rugged terrain and navigating through rapids with white water rafting that will test your communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Day 1

Pick-Up (8:30am - 12pm)

The pick-up is in the KL area, and you’ll have to gather before the journey starts at 9am. The earlier the better, just pretend that you are going to the airport. From Kuala Lumpur to Gopeng it takes about 3 hours.

Participants are encouraged to bring a cap/hat, a change of clothes, insect repellent, slippers or sports shoes, sunscreen and a towel. 

Lunch (12:30pm - 1:30pm)

Nope, the first thing that you are going to do is not check in but lunch! After 3 hours of a car journey, we are pretty sure that your stomach will rumble like Jenga blocks falling down. So of course must eat-lah! The yummy lunch buffet is provided by the same team in charge of the white water rafting adventure that you’ll engage in later on. If you have dietary requests like vegan, gluten-free, etc do let us know in advance so we can relay your request to the kitchen team. 

White Water Rafting Begins! (1:30pm - 6:30pm)

After your stomach is happy, let’s begin the white water rafting adventure! It is clocked at 2pm, but before that, you’ll have to take a transfer (1:30pm) with your guides to the white water rafting point. You can rent a locker for RM20 to store your belongings before departing. It takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the rafting point. The white water rafting adventure takes about 2-3 hours, spanning 9km, depending on the river conditions. Your guide will give you a safety briefing and instructions on manoeuvring the raft.

Before starting, you’ll be given protective gear such as helmets and life jackets to wear. They might not look flattering on you but trust us, safety first! After that, you can enjoy the rush of adrenaline as you navigate through rapids and waves, and take in the beauty of nature around you. 

Throughout the course, you’ll brave through around 9 to 11 rapids ranging from class I-III. The river is known for its exciting rapids, and the current can get more turbulent if it rained the night before! If you are a bunch of thrill seekers, here's an extra tip for you because you can ask the guide to bring you guys to more challenging routes. This activity is suitable for anybody who is physically fit and requires strong teamwork, making it perfect for team-building.

At the end of your rafting adventure, you can purchase soft copies of photographs of you that were taken during rafting. Make sure to bring enough cash (at least RM250) because e-wallet and online transfer services are not available. You can even shower if you want. The toilets and shower facilities are pretty well maintained.

Check-in & Dinner (6pm onwards)

After a tiring day of rafting around, you’ll be taken to your accommodation for check-in (yes, you can finally check in). Then, after you’ve rested and prepped yourself, you can enjoy a BBQ buffet that starts at 7pm in the hotel. This is also when you can reflect on the rafting experience and have a chat about it with your teammates. 

Day 2

Breakfast (7:30am - 8:30am)

Wake up early to enjoy a simple breakfast provided by the hotel. You need to fuel up before starting the day’s journey.

Get Wild With ATV (9am - 10am)

Smother your skin with sunscreen and hop on an ATV to explore the rugged terrain in Gopeng. Before starting, you’ll be given a short briefing on how to operate the vehicle plus protective gears. That is because safety comes first here. Newbies can train a few laps to get used to the ATV.

The ATV ride takes you through the countryside, so make sure you don't run over any chickens. The adrenaline rush will pump up your team-building spirit as you navigate across oil palm plantations, a river and the jungle.

This Gopeng team-building activity is perfect for bonding with your teammates as you work together to overcome any obstacles. Plus, you’ll be led by a bunch of friendly and young guides, so it’s going to be exciting!

Free & Easy (10:30am - 11:30am)

With an hour left before departing for KL, you can do anything that you want. It is a bit unfortunate that the area is a bit undeveloped and there isn’t anything much to do. So you can rest and enjoy the beauty of nature because we are pretty sure that’s what you might need after the tiring ATV adventure. Or if you’re up to it, you can even play another small game with your team members at the accommodation.

Bye-Bye (12pm)

Say goodbye to Gopeng and then your teammates as you head back to the city. You'll leave with memories of a thrilling and unforgettable Gopeng team-building experience.
