Cameron Highlands in Malaysia is a popular getaway for locals or tourists. This place is located not too far from Kuala Lumpur, so a brief visit to this beautiful highland is doable. Cameron Highlands offers visitors a moderate climate with daytime temperatures averaging around 25°C and 18°C at night. The township of Cameron is itself divided into Tanah Rata, Brinchang and Ringlet. William Cameron, a British expedition, discovered the location in 1885 and since then, they named this place after him. Because of the perfect climate, it was very suitable for cultivating tea, and the Cameron Highlands soon grew out to be the biggest tea region of Malaysia. Fresh air, tea plantation, those are some reasons it’s loveable by whoever comes.
