Visit some cute 🐦birbs at Malaysia’s largest bird paradise. With more than 3000 birds from 20 species, 90% of the furry winged friends here are from Malaysia, whereas 10% of them are imported from countries like Australia, China, Holland, New Guinea and others.
This bird park is a good place for both adults and kids to learn more about birds that we don’t hear much about often, like the scarlet ibis, asian fairy bluebird, purple swamphen etc. Be prepared to spend up to half of a day in this large enclosure.

One of the largest butterfly parks in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park has over 5,000 butterflies, exotic plants, butterfly-host plants and ferns. If you think that all you can see are butterflies, then you are wrong. There are also other attractions such as Japanese koi fish, freshwater turtles and insects from around the world.

Bukit Broga is one of the most famous hiking spots in KL. It’s only 400 metres high and you can easily hike it in an hour but its steepness makes it quite a challenge to hike. Many people choose to hike in the early hours to catch the beautiful view of 🌄sunrise on top of the hill, in the middle of the city.

Just a 35-minute 🚗drive away from Kuala Lumpur is the Wet World Water Park in Shah Alam. This water park is a great place to relax and have fun for the whole family. If you are worried about the hot scorching sun, there are lots of shades and trees!
This place is suitable for small kids aged around 3-7 because the slides aren’t very challenging and are pretty much kids-friendly, plus the water level isn’t very high either.

If you like Paragliding, you don’t have to go far. There is one here right at Bukit Jugra, Banting. When the weather is good, you get to see the Strait of Malacca from here. This is a tandem activity, so there is no prior experience needed and no age requirements too!
Glide over the historic part of the Klang Valley as you salvage the beautiful views of the greenery and river. All you have to do is sit comfortably in the harness while your instructor navigates the way.
