If you are in Penang, you can’t miss the famous blue mansion called the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion. It is a boutique hotel with historical splendour from the colonial era. Many of the decorations consist of antiques, both from Cheong Fatt Tze’s own collection and acquired through other means.

Housing over 100 ?crocodiles, crocs are not the only animals you can see at the Melaka Crocodile & Recreational Park. Besides the menacing reptile, there are also 🦌deers, 🐇rabbits, 🦔hedgehogs, 🦚peacocks, etc which you can feed and pet (some of them only-lah, don’t go and pet hedgehogs ok). However, if you think that those animals are too “basic”, you can take up the challenge to feed the crocodiles (feed them chicken meat, you’re not supposed to throw yourself in). On top of that, kids can also swim in the pool (not the ones with crocodiles).
Feel and touch more than 70 species of animals, including some exotic animals that you’ve never seen before, let alone touch them! G2G Animal Gardenis another cheap attraction where kids can learn about animals up close. Besides touching and feeding the animals,you can also ride on ponies and catch guppy fish with a colander haiyaa…much to uncle Roger’s chagrin (joking lol, it’s not a colander but a strainer).
Take an elevator up to the 43rd floor of The Shore Sky Tower and be treated with a bird's eye view of the historical Melaka city. You get to view the city’s panorama at 360° up to a 50km radius from the tallest building in Melaka. It gives you a different view at different times of the day.
Unfortunately, it is a one-time entry per ticket. However, you can spend unlimited time up there, so pick a time whether you want to come during the day when the sky is blue with white fluffy clouds, during 🌄sunset or at 🌃night when the building and car lights deck the city.
