With the tallest 🎄Christmas tree in Malaysia, Suria KLCC is definitely a VIP game-player when it comes to Christmas decor. This year, they chose to feature a brightly lit train locomotive with a ‘pick me’ vibe right in front of the tree! (very kiasu eh😏). The theme continues all the way to the inside of the mall with trains loaded with gifts from Santa! And...where is the 🎅Santa? The pot-belly and white-bearded old man can be found inside a cottage; for a meet and greet! Ho~ho~ho~
This year, Mid Valley Megamall has brought us something 🤤delicious!
Gingerbread man here, gingerbread man there, that’s right! The main area
of the mall has turned into a gingerbread town!😱. Even the trees are
decked with yummy looking gingerbread cookies! (unfortunately, all are not
edible). So don’t forget to bring your family on an eating spree,
er...I mean shopping spree here😜. The MidValley Soutkey in Johor also
adopted the exact same theme!
Christmas decors in The Gardens Mall never fail us year after year, and this year is no different. The mall has just transformed into a forest garden with tea parties held by the animals! At first glance, it feels like you have just stepped into the world of Alice in Wonderland (wonderland ya, not borderland!). Also, take a look at the story behind this year’s theme.
Festive decorations in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur have always been impressive, and this Christmas is no exception! This year’s credit goes to Coach for bringing some elegant and whimsical themed installations at the main entrance to the mall. The Christmas installations consist of numerous animals like llama (or alpaca?🤔), penguin, reindeer and polar bear (all of them in stylish winter gears, of course...). These animals in gold and white colour are in fact, Coach’s holiday creatures!
This mall held its grand opening early in the month, and it didn’t go without a drama. Although many of the retailers are not opened yet, it still hasn’t dampen the Christmas spirit of this mall. As opposed to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s decor, the Christmas decorations here are simpler. Gigantic Christmas ball ornaments can be seen dangling from above. There is also a carousel in the middle of the main area with beautifully lit-up Christmas trees and other illuminations all around.
Theme: Christmas Trees Unite!
This year, One U is bringing back all their trees! At Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the gigantic Christmas ball ornaments dangle from above. However, here in One Utama; they can be found on the ground right underneath the largest Christmas tree. Plus! There are lots of 🎁free gifts waiting for you to redeem!
While other malls are up and running with their enchanting Christmas decorations, KL East Mall is not here to lose! That is because they managed to bring the entire elven kingdom here! Wow! (How they managed to convince the elf king, we don’t know-lah) Make sure to come and take a selfie with the elf king and princess ok!
This year, Sungei Wang has stepped up its game by presenting to you an Estonian Christmas. It was even launched by Yang Berbahagia Kol Dato' Harbans Singh, Honorary Consul of Estonia in Malaysia! The most exciting part of all these is that visitors get to experience ❄snowfall at the main entrance every weekend at 6pm and 8pm respectively. (not sure whether it means 6pm on Saturday & 8pm on Sunday or something else, you guys better go see for yourselves!)
This holiday, IOI City Mall is brings the Christmas celebration down and under the sea! Bloop🐟bloop🐠~ With the brightly lit jellyfishes hanging from the ceiling and a rotating giant seahorse plus lots and lots of corals, you will definitely feel like you are in an underwater world celebrating Christmas with the sea creatures.
If you think your Mondays are blue, Melawati Mall is even bluer. This year, they are going for a splash of blue. Make sure to clear your phone for space, as the magical blue backdrop with beautifully decorated wreaths and bows illuminated by blue LED lights will make your phone memory run out of space!
When it comes to being blue Tropicana Gardens Mall is definitely here to win! They have their Christmas installations decked in blue too! (Is blue a holiday trend now?🤔) For this, unfortunately, the trophy has to go to Tropicana Gardens Mall as they have incorporated the blue design with what looks like a snowy winter bazaar. They stepped up their game so high that there are even (fake) marble statues! As if that wasn’t enough, there is even a big golden tree!
This festive season, Bangsar Shopping Center has geared up by decking, not just the main area; but the entire mall with festive decorations! (Not surprising as this is an “atas” area😏) In tune with their theme, everywhere in the mall is just ✨shiny and 🌟sparkly😍. Come here and redeem some exclusive casserole dishes (for your Christmas meal) as you shop here!
It seems like The Mines is going with some 🌟pizzazz🌟~ this year. Their boats are also beautifully decorated with illuminated decorations that will surely make you want to ride on them all day. What a sight to behold!
In line with the launch of VTL where Malaysians can come back home from
Singapore, Berjaya Times Square is going for a classic Christmas
installation theme. Upon entering from the main entrance, you will find a
humongous tree and other smaller trees, along with gingerbread men,
snowmen and Santa Claus. Remember to catch their Christmas ad video here(me know you like festive season videos😏).
Yetties just took over MyTOWN!! Just kidding🤭😜; for the full story, you can watch the short animation. MyTOWN’s Christmas mascot this year is Yeni. Go say hi to her in her white snowy town in the main area!
