Duke Fine Durian

Have you ever tried durian fine-dining? Well, this is what Duke Fine Durian is all about! Located at the glasshouse right in front of Fahrenheit88 Shopping Mall at Jalan Bukit Bintang, it just held its soft launch in early May. This cafe can also be easily spotted by the colourful durians installation that stands not far from it.
conniesimplelife
The glass walls allow 🌞natural light to pierce into the cafe giving a really nice ambience for Instagram food photos. The interior even comes with a real 🌳durian tree as the centrepiece! It also has an open kitchen concept, where guests can see their desserts being prepared.

Some of the durian treats on their menu include Durian Croissant, Durian Cheese O, Durian Oyaki and many more! Currently, the items on their menu are pretty limited because they are still pretty new. However, don't worry because there will be more yummy durian and non-durian desserts coming your way soon!

Moody Cow Cafe Penang

If you love durian 🍰cakes, you have to head to Moody Cow Cafe Penang because their cakes are thick! Like enormously thick…They have cheesecakes of various flavours, including durian, nangka, salted egg and more. Each slice is around 4-inch thick and weighs around 300-500grams. Some people might find it pricey as a slice of cake costs around RM40-RM50, but again; it is way thicker than any other cakes out there. The flavour is so rich that most people can’t finish a slice of cake.

Once you step into the cafe, you will see cakes of various flavours in the chiller waiting for you to order a slice of them. On top of that, you will find yourself surrounded by lots of ?plants. Just like its name, the cafe is pretty moody with a dark ambience and lighting. This cafe can be easily spotted from far away as it is the only shop in the row of shop lots that is completely covered in green plants. This is not a halal cafe as some cakes contain ?alcohol.

This new cafe in the golden triangle serves nothing but durian desserts. They have Musang King Gelato, Musang King Durian Cendol, Durian Pizza, Durian White Coffee, etc. For your information, their Musang King Gelato is produced and made fresh in a factory owned by them! D.MasKing only source their Musang King durians from their own durian 🌳orchard in Bentong and Raub, Pahang. So this is like farm to table but a few hundred miles.

One of the most intriguing items on the menu is the D.MasKing Delightful High-Tea Set which comes in a 3 tiered dessert tray. However, despite all the premium desserts, the bestseller on the menu is still the Musang King Durian Cendol. It seems like Malaysians and cendol can’t be separated, especially if it involves durians.

Their Durion (yes it’s Durion, but the autocorrect won’t stop correcting me?) Mango choux tastes light and not too sweet. The outer crust is crunchy, whereas the soft filling is made using fresh musang king durian and some good quality 🥭mangoes. It will surely make you want a second helping! Besides the desserts, they also serve main meals like 🍝pasta, breakfast set, 🍔burger and chicken chop.

While durians are nice to enjoy, please avoid overconsumption because it can lead to your body being “yeet hay” or heaty (like this emoji🥵). So have you thought of who to bring along for cafe hopping at these 6 durian dessert cafes in Malaysia?
