This year, Sunway Malls celebrates Chinese New Year by giving back to the community more, hence the theme of 100 blessings. The decor is mostly boxy for all Sunway Malls. Personally, this writer thinks that the Velocity Mall has the best decor out of the 8 Sunway Malls. The main decoration looks like a series of red, yellow and teal colour boxes stacked on top and next to each other.

OMG!! MyTOWN’s CNY decor this year is simply gorgeous!! There is a tall weeping ?cherry blossom tree with a gigantic yet cute looking ?tiger (which also seems to be fluffy to touch). This year, Pavilion KL has brought the traditional Chinese art of paper cutting to life! In collaboration with Master Chen Xiao (陈晓), an international award-winning modern origami artist. The 30-foot Pavilion Paper Art Garden at the centre court of level 2 represents the harmony of the 5 feng shui elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth) in a Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter setting.
There are also beautiful red ?Chinese lanterns scattered around the massive origami inspired art installations.
