Christmas is coming, but you can forget the ⛄snow, 🛷sleigh, and 🎅Santa Claus because you won’t find those in Malaysia. Still, you don't have to worry because there are still plenty of places to celebrate the holiday season. You can shake things up this holiday season by celebrating 🎄Christmas in these 6 places in Malaysia.
Coach is literally on the move, and it’s already been moving around since 2 December! The holiday bus’ first stop was at APW Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. For the upcoming Christmas, Coach is having a pop-up with its red double-decker bus in 4 major cities in Malaysia (so far, they have covered one). The 3 other pop-ups would be at Johor Premium Outlets - Johor (9–11 Dec), Hin Bus Depot - Penang (16–18 Dec), and IOI City Mall - Putrajaya (23–25 Dec).
Under the theme “Feel the Wonder,” these pop-ups will make you feel the wonder of Christmas with festivities and activities. At the APW Bangsar pop-up, visitors got to meet the gigantic inflatable Coach mascot, 🐱🐉Rexy, enjoy some bespoke ☕coffee by Gigi Coffee and check out some new skincare at Chuck's. co’s booth.
In addition to all that, visitors could actually get on the double-decker bus. There were lots of photo spots in there for a 🤳social media frenzy. Then, visitors could paint their own Rexy figurine with acrylic pouring and spin a Gacha machine to test their luck and see what they get.
We’re not sure if it’s going to be the same for the events at 3 other cities, so mark the 📅dates on your calendar and make sure to head to the next Coach On The Move nearest to you!
Disney will be celebrating its 100th anniversary next year (2023), and Pavilion KL has been chosen to be the first in Southeast Asia to experience ‘Disney 100 Years of Wonder’. From 27 November to 26 December 2022, visitors can experience a Disney-filled Christmas at Level 2 Centre Court.
There are more things to see than you can think of! First of all, there is a Christmas tree made of 1,000 Mickey Mouse figurines painted by Malaysians. Then, there is the “Mickey Go Local” figurine showcase featuring 100 pieces of 2-feet tall Mickey figurines artistically decorated by notable Malaysians and brands. Next, there are the 3-Feet LEGO Mickey figurines, 12 limited edition Disney princess dolls, pop-up stores with original Disney merchandise and lots of Instagram-worthy photo spots!
On top of all these, the most outstanding feature of this Christmas decor has to be the Disney100 Express train. Each carriage is decorated with different themes, such as Mickey Mouse’s first appearance in Steamboat Willie (1928), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Lion King, and many more!
